Scarlett Moffatt stuns in TikTok video feeling like a ‘rockstar’

Scarlett Moffatt had given up on love before she fell for current boyfriend, policeman Scott Dobinson, who she started dating in 2019.

The 31-year-old reality star had known the 36-year-old copper “for years” before they embarked on their romance – although their three-year-long romance has been far from plain sailing.

Scarlett has had many ups and downs relating to her romantic life over the years – with flings with fellow reality stars causing drama on TV, and hard-and-fast love affairs crashing and burning brightly.

But after going through the wringer in matters of the heart for years on end, Scarlett was ready to give up on finding a successful romance entirely – before she reconnected with Scott.

Speaking on her Scarlett Moffatt Wants To Believe podcast, the former Gogglebox star said: “Honestly, this sounds really sad, but I never thought I would find true love.

“I don’t know whether it’s because I just met people who were a***holes, or what it was, or if I was giving a certain energy off. But I was just like, ‘Nah, I don’t think love is for me’.”

She went on: “I thought I’d just have to find love with my family and my friends because I wasn’t going to get it in a romantic way.

“But then when I met Scott it all changed. He’s such a kind person.”

Scarlett endured a torrid love life before her romance with Scott.

Back in 2013, when Scarlett was desperate to become a reality star, her attempt at wooing Welshman Richard Cull, 30, and Irishman Jeremy McConnell was caught on camera as part of MTV’s short lived series Beauty School Cop Ours – with all the highs, lows and tears caught on camera.

She then joined Gogglebox which propelled her to stardom – and as a result dragged her romantic life into the spotlight.

She endured an on-off romance with hairdresser Luke Crodden from 2016 until 2017 – and then swiftly moved on to date fitness model Lee Wilkinson at the end of that year.

The pair split in 2018, however, with Scarlett branding the muscled hunk a “cheating pathological liar”.

Following her split with Lee, fans of Scarlett became convinced she was having an affair with Ant McParlin as they noticed unusual things like a photo of Ant appearing in a frame beside her bed.

But the suggestion of a romance between the pair – who worked together on Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway were swiftly shut down by representatives, while Scarlett was sacked from the show soon after.

The reality star then confirmed she had started dating Scott by early 2019 – splitting a few months later, only to later reconcile, but then to split again in 2021 before they reconciled again.

Scarlett gushed about her love for Scott as they celebrated their three year anniversary last week.

She wrote online: “3 years officially together my love @scottdobby. I had honestly thought about giving up on finding a nice guy.

“I felt like I’d been handed enough luck in my life and so love wasn’t going to be a part of my story. Felt almost like I didn’t deserve it. Until I met you and everything clicked into place.”
